The Depth of Documentary Film making
Documentaries raise questions about the world we live in. They journey into the lives of real people, binding us to their joy, and their realities.
They pierce the armor of cynicism we have built around ourselves. They enrich our experience and expand our world. They can make us angry, delighted, amused and inspired.
At Sophodok we believe that documentaries can change our world, not only the one we live in, but also our inner world.
Sophodok- Inspiring Documentaries
Sophodok is a documentary distribution company, dealing in buying and selling of both international and local documentaries, started by Sophy V. Sivaraman and Nick Ware.
Both of them share a common passion for showcasing documentaries for the discerning as well as first-time viewer. Their unflinching commitment to the film-maker ensures that his interest is at the heart of all the actions undertaken.
At Sophodok, we believe that documentaries enrich the human experience as they connect people through their emotions. Documentaries do much more than just 'capture reality'. They enrich, educate, question, shock, cajole and provoke the viewer in a way no other art form can.
At Sophodok, we take pride in being an efficient, friendly and responsible team which helps you narrate the most evocative stories ever captured on visual text. In turn helping it find a wider audience.
